Student thesis: Termpaper

This projects way of interpreting the matters of the primary-school reform and the new workhour rules, is anchored in the experience of a school teacher. The tools and astuteness we utilize to require a more distinct knowledge about this topic, is by analyzing and discussing various theories from some of the most acknowledged psychologists in the field of stress and well-being. Duo to our choice of theory, we found it convenient to establish a baseline for our studies by bringing the implications of the reform and the new workhour rules to our awareness by investigating, how they appeared as framework conditions for the school teacher and her colleague’s conditions of employment at the primary-school. The content and circumstances of this study is being exemplified as positive and negative conclusions that our interviewee talks freely about, concerning her experiences at work, her feeling and opinions. We have hereby obtained knowledge about the various conditions that gives us a deeper understanding of the relationship between the teachers, the reform, the new workhour rules and the general conditions of employment. This is being dealt with in a matter, where it appears challenging to reach a consensus without sacrificing some of the needs for the teacher’s well-beings.
