Quasi Geodesic Flow on a Model of the Constant Potential Energy Hyper-Surface

This project report investigates whether the dynamics of a quasi geodesic flow on a surface of intersecting hyper-spheres exhibits viscous liquid like behaviour. A motivation for why the model is expected to model viscous liquids is presented. When analysing the model dynamics, it is observed that the model shows viscous liquid like behaviour in its mean square displacement and in its diffusion coefficient. The model dynamics is compared to NVT dynamics and it is concluded that this model exhibits viscous liquid like behaviour to such an extent that a closer examination of the model liquid might help us understand viscous liquids.
