Outsourcings economic impact on Danish society

Abstract

This project is intended to clarify the motives of outsourcing for the companies Novo Nordisk and Lundbeck and the consequences it has on the Danish national economy. The business models of the companies, based on Business Canvas, is analyzed to give knowledge in the underlying strategies that takes part in increasing the economic company growth and competitive capacity. Based on the analysis of the companies, a Cost-benefit analysis is executed, where the output of the Business Canvas model is compared with complimentary empiricism. It is necessary to counterbalance the positive and negative effects on outsourcing, to clarify if the companies outsourcing is profitable for Danish economy. Followed by a discussion based on the plan of 2020, is an evaluation on whether the effects of outsourcing, is positive or negative for the economic growth and unemployment in Denmark.
