Student thesis: Termpaper

This study deals with optimisation of first semester project at Roskilde University’s Humanities and Technology Bachelor. The study tries to define the largest and most common challenges for a project group. The empirical data is gathered through interviews and surveys conducted by current students, former students and relevant staff at the institute. The results showed that the students miss a combination of tools to help structure and organise meetings, the project study and the overall project progress. From this knowledge we have produced a prototype of a digitalised design solution, which is sketched in the study together with a evaluation plan. Our design solution is a digitalised tool box with tools to secure a solution within the problems the students identified. The design is going to be an integrated part of Roskilde University’s webpage system; moodle.ruc.dk.
