In this project we have asked the question whether or not it is possible to measure health in companies, and which implications it can have for the employees. By way of introduction we have examined a great deal of health related theory, and have come to understand health as a notion reaching far beyond the mere physical aspect. Health is a conception that includes the entire human being and how this individual understands, handles and interacts with its surroundings. We have analysed a specific company’s attempt to measure health (in the shape of a questionnaire) among its employees. The analysis shows that the questionnaire in itself is well framed with relevant and precise questions, but in the process following, we find ourselves critical towards the actions initiated, or lack of same. We conclude that the method of a questionnaire in itself, is insufficient to measure health and therefore it can have little influence on the health of the employees.
