This paper examines how we use camera surveillance in Denmark, and how informed the Danish people are on the current state of camera surveillance. We will research this with the help of analyses of international, as well as Danish, experiments. We will look at relevant ethical considerations in the fields of deontology and consequentialism. From this paper, we can determine if camera surveillance is used as a preventive tool against crimes, and if it is a good tool for the police in investigative work. Furthermore, we will show that most people are ignorant, when it comes to the actual effects of camera surveillance. Our design is one possible solution for informing the populace.
