The public sector in Denmark is changing the ways it serves people. Through out the entire public administration, there have been set rules, which demand certain kinds of digitizing. But what happens if the citizens of Denmark are unable to use the digital portals, which the public administrations of Denmark are offering? This thesis investigates some of the issues that are connected to citizens with missing ability to use the public solutions. Through think aloud tests citizens are asked to use the site “pensionsinfo.dk”, where the public national NemID login is implemented. The results from these think aloud tests show that citizens with missing abilities to use a computer, though having received education, does not have the required skills to use “pensionsinfo.dk” or NemID without the help from others. These results are held up against Usable Security and the results from this tells us, that there are some security problems when it comes to the use of NemID implemented on public sites.
