Abstract

This assignment examines whether you can optimize the website Sundhed.dk’s functionalities and the amount of users, when you appeal to the young adult generation and their needs. The study is based on Sundhed.dk’s system and the people who work with Sundhed.dk. This assignment collects information and data through three different types of interviews. Thereafter, this data and information can be used to determine the right way to optimize Sundhed.dk. The assignment examines Langdon Winners theory about “Har artefakter en politisk karakter?” and Jakob Nielsen’s theory about how usability and utility equals a useful website. The assignment also includes theories about the regular web designs usability and conventions. In addition to the mentioned theories, the paper includes a user-test as to receive a technological aspect of how Sundhed.dk’s features function. This paper analyses and discusses how Sundhed.dk can reach out to the young adult generation and how to achieve their needs, through the use of these methods and chosen theories.
