The conception for this project originates from an interest for improving student’s ability to speak in public, through instruments provided from teachers in the Danish school system. During this project we have conducted a study to isolate which instruments, we as speakers should focus on when making an oral presentation, to persuade student teachers, that they in the future, should teach their students in oral presentations at one rhetorical day. Our aim for this survey has first been to establish whether or not teachers believe that only one rhetorical day would be sufficient to educate students in oral presentations. We found, that they did not believe that this would be possible to cover in one day and therefore we designed a presentation, attempting to convince them otherwise. We have based our interviews and analysis on the relevant theories, thereby allowing us to understand which instruments we should focus on during the planning of a convincing presentation.
