Abstract

The Icelandic crisis management: The project deals with Iceland’s management of their economic crisis, and whether or not there from this can be deduced a model for economic crisis management. The project is based on the fields of political science, and macroeconomics. The project accounts for and analyzes the political tackling of the crisis, while concurrently accounts for the Icelandic economy, and its development as the crisis hits. Subsequently the economic effect of the political management is subject to analysis. Finally a model, based on the findings of the above, has been designed, and discussed under which conditions this model might be of use in other crisis-stricken states.
