The following project report is a study of Danmarks Radio (DR). The essential part is the analysis of the arisen problems, which DR encountered in connection with the move to the DR city along with the organizational changes that the organization has gone through lately. The content of the project is based on the qualitative and quantitative method approach respectively, which provides the empirical basis for the study. This empirical data helps to investigate the circumstances, which revolve around the problems and consequences that the organization faces in connection with the organizational changes. The circumstances are analyzed with relevant organizational theory to enlighten and understand the rationale behind the decisions. Finally it is discussed whether the organizational changes have been a success seen from a management, consumer and employee perspective. Based on the above-mentioned, it can be reasoned that the organizational changes have had an influence on the organization. The employees’ efficiency and productivity has been enhanced, the output of DR has been increased and at the same time they have returned to economical equilibrium without this having any significant consequence among the consumers and their quality assessment of DRs products. Despite DR returning to economical equilibrium already in 2009, the organizational changes and cutbacks continue undeterred, which entails certain problems in some parts of the organization. Furthermore, the project has shown that the employees’ conditions in this period have been worsened, which is one of the consequences of the organizational changes.
