Abstract

This chapter focuses on emerging practices of mobility such as: long-distance commuting, shuttling, and overnighting. The increase of these mobility practices has engendered radical changes on territorial use as well as the configuration of novel spaces. As it will be shown in the text, I experimented with a research method that includes traveling alongside highly mobile people, semi-structured interviews, and interactive maps in order to both facilitate a better understanding of the different spatial implications, and offer valuable insights about the different spaces involved in highly mobile people’s everyday lives
