Abstract
The historically new situation of digital connectedness between subject and world poses new challenges for students today. Digital distraction represents a central problem in this context. Drawing on student experience reports, this article examines distraction in the context of the digitalization of learning relations. In doing so, the concept of distraction is refined as well as reasoning traps in inquiry-based learning in digital learning-teaching relations described. Furthermore, the relevance of developing an academic culture is highlighted, which systematically addresses not only the significance of digital technologies in learning, but also how to deal with them.
