Abstract
Sector research institutions have demonstrated since 2001 that wood stoves emit alarming toxic concentrations of PAH and dioxin type, which don't correlate positively and therefore cannot be contained with a unitary strategy. The regulating authorities evade, however, their plight from i.a. the Stockholm Convention re. POPs to reduce that kind of pollution as much as possible with reference to the dogma of CO2-neutrality as being valid for all biomass. This is refuted. Both the physicist Bent Sørensen/RUC and the 2001 report from IPCC have argued that this is not (no more) the case with plants having a turnover time of decades.
