Like any other school subject, psychology reflects the achievements of the scientific field it represents. A new field of psychological study was founded in 1999, known as “positive psychology”. Experiments in several countries created theoretical grounds for the effective work of practical psychologists in various educational and social areas. This article will explore how a new approach to teaching psychology to adolescents can be realized, including methods of solving certain educational exercises, developed through active involvement with students. These proved their effectiveness in psychology lessons for school children.
