Macroeconomic stability: Sustainable Development and Full Employment

    Abstract

    It is demonstrated that full employment and sustainable development not necessarily are conflicting goals. On the other hand macroeconomic stability cannot be obtained without a deliberate labour sharing policy and a shift in the composition of private consumption away from traditional material goods towards services.
