Living lab for designing behavior a-change

Abstract

Changing behavior, from changing bad habits or forming good habits takes time. Last decades, many researches on behavior change and human habits have been conducted, and knowledge for forming and replacing habits and good behavior have been accumulated. By focusing two key aspects of behavior change supports, the article proposes to apply Living Lab as design approach for designing behavior A-Change. Based on two Living Lab cases, the article introduces potentials of supporting in-depth understanding of the target user and their motivations, needs and their transition over long-term period in order to design Behavior Change Support System by means of Living Lab.
