    Abstract

Co-operation conversations is a new empowerment oriented method to emprove co-operation and interpersonal relations between the different parts (including the children themselves) in cases, where children are placed out of home. The method has been developed by the authors of the book, based on mediation theory and method, has been tested and further developmed through implementation of the program "Co-operation conversations". The book communicates the theories on which the method is based and the method in details (how to work with the method), as well as the experiences and perspectives of children, parents and professionals regarding participating in co-operations conversations. These experiences and perspectives documents how difficult and sensitive this co-operations and relations are, and further the importance of  good co-operation and interpersonal relations for the well-beeing of the child. Finally these experiences and perspectives documents that co-operation conversations in most cases manage to improve co-operation and interpersonal relations.
