Abstract
This Working Paper provides a brief overview of the wastewater challenges and lived experiences of water users in Tema and its environs. Furthermore, the Working Paper summarises the official regulatory actors and agencies and their involvement with wastewater governance in Tema. Based on this knowledge, the Working Paper seeks to understand the preferences, challenges, and coping strategies of the Tema population in terms of water and to assess the perception of the population on waste water recycling in Tema.
