Abstract
If the aspects of dispersal biology have to be taken into consideration in nature management, it is not sufficient to focus on the structure of the individual biotope. It is also necessary to work with the pattern of biotopes, i.e. their interrelations in space and their individual biological variation, and it is especially important to consider the history of the biotopes: their ontogeny, exploitation, and chance of survival
