Abstract
Narrative as a method is one in which narratives become the foundation for social reserach. Narratives are often utililzed as a method in order to obtain empirical information which contains a dimension of personal experience. A more analytical approach to narratives, where not just the contents but also the form of the narrative is analyzed, is less frequent. The current point in dispute is thus the status of narratives in social research
