Proposal for a Production Aesthetics (in Danish) explores the various conditions surrounding art production and how these conditions are incorporated into the artwork in contemporary art practice. It illuminates how previous non-art aspects such as work + life balance, new ideals and practices of social collaboration, new exhibition and distribution formats, negotiation of intellectual properties, rights and ownership, employment conditions and changes in work patterns etc. to an increasing extent inform contemporary art by affecting the basic circumstances under which it performs, makes sense and is perceived.
