Abstract

Newer algorithms are coming into play as the internet becomes increasingly balkanized. India tensed up its digital borders when it banned TikTok along with another 58 Chinese apps. This was on the heels of the heavy border brawl between them in the Galwan Valley in Ladakh. China, of course, has its more pushy device in Xi Jinping’s Great Firewall of China, Fanghuo Changcheng.
