Blood Cancer and Immune Surveillance

Abstract

In this article we discuss recent examples of mathematical modeling that have contributed to our understanding of blood cancers and their interaction with the immune system. It is demonstrated that such models are essential tools for the development of individualized medicine and to address targets for new treatments if applied to patient data.
