A research note on living labscoproduction: Exploring the link to public value and service

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperResearchpeer-review

Abstract

The main objective of the paper is to discuss current understandings of living
labs in the literature and explore how public value and co-creation is
consequently conceptualised. Based on this exploration the paper discusses
how service literature on coproduction can enrich the notion of living
labs. Hence the paper makes a link between service research and the
main research streams focusing on living labs such as urban development
and ICT development. This will lay the ground for a refined understanding
of what living labs can and do in the context of developing public services -
at present and in the future.
