Development of a Master programme in gender and development at GDRSC, Sana'a University in Yemen

The objective of the project is to establish a bi-lingual and multidisciplinary  MA-programme in gender and development at the Gender and Development Resarch and Studies Centre. The aim is for the Master education to reach a level which makes it internationally and academically valid. Experiences from the former centre which led to its close-down are calling for apporaches that are at once at a high academic level and sensitive to the politization of the gender issue and to the needs of more gender balance in the various sectors of Yemeni society
