Project Details
Description
Articles from this project will be published in 2024.
The aim of this research project is to explore social innovation in frontline organizations (statutory organizations and NGOs). The included organizations all work to create new and better services for people in socially vulnerable positions.
The primary focus has been on the inclusion of volunteers in a statutory street level organization (SLO) working with long term drug users. This new initiative is based on cross-sector collaboration between an NGO and the SLO. The complementary voluntary activities aim to reduce loneliness and social isolation among the service users.
