Collaborative policy making in the non-profit housing sector

Project: Research

Project Details

The Danish non-profit housing sector has a unique organization, social focus and resident democracy. Right now the sector is, as other international, national and local governments, experiencing increasing complexity in problem solving, declining democratic participation and a growing distance between citizens and political representatives. The ph.d.-project focuses on, how the non-profit housing sector has introduced new forms of collaboration to contribute to the problem solving. The new forms of collaboration also pose new demands for both the political leaders and the administration.
