Project Details

Description

The driving force of Roskilde Environmental Plastic Society (REPS) is the interdisciplinary scope of applied research aiming towards understanding, reducing and mitigating of plastic pollution. The group’s intention is to target plastic pollution in nature and society from multiple angles including:

• Monitoring of macro and micro plastic in environmental compartments
• Assessments of environmental impact of plastic particles (in the micro and nano size) and additives
• Multilevel plastic regulations and decision-making processes
• Public transition behavior and motivation through Citizen Science
• Circular Economy covering plastic production, consumption, and waste management

We work together through our teaching and research projects within the group and with a wide range of academic colleagues, government institutions and private partners.
