Project Details

Description

This interdisciplinary research cluster comprising senior and early career researchers from Paris8, Macerrata and Roskilde Universities intends to provide a space for the development of approaches grounded in Feminist Science and Technology Studies (STS) (e.g. Puig de la Bellacasa), sensory studies (e.g. Howes), historico-cultural psychology theories (e.g. Vygotsky), and ethnographic methods with the purpose of conceptualising sustainability as not merely an abstract arena of imagination and creativity, but a concrete subjective and deeply social practice that people (at all levels) engage in. Hence, we focus on a (critical) social psychological approach to creativity and imagination that stipulates these phenomena are deeply socially embedded and belong to all, and entails normative and political dimensions.
