Description
Underlying rational judgment and managerial decision-making under incomplete knowledge are both conscious and unconscious processes and biases. One of the most pervasive and empirically studied unconscious biases is overconfidence. We test a method of dialectical bootstrapping, to explore whether educators can teach students simple techniques to reduce knowledge overconfidence and more accurately assess what they know.
