Personal profile
Research
I am a PhD student at the Department of Social Sciences and Business, where I am part of Roskilde School of Governance. In my PhD project I investigate Danish ministries' standards for, and utilisation of, evidence in their policymaking practices. The project focuses on the Ministry of Children and Education's primary school policies and the Ministry of Employments policies on active empolyment. Thorugh document analysis, qualitative interviews, and survey data, I examine whether there is connection between standards for evidence and knowledge utilisation in the ministries.
My research interests are political processes, knowledge sociology, theories on power, and the relationship between politics and civil society. I mainly use qualitative methods but I also have experience with quantitative and mixed method approaches.
