Research

Research interests:

How social change happens. New forms of democratic participation, activism, and social movements. Civil society and citizenship. Globalisation, humanitarian diplomacy, and polycrises. 

Theory:

Critical theory.Theory of change. Moral philosophy. Leadership- and organisational theory. Theory of social movements, power, and justice.

Methods:

Qualitative methods, discourse analysis, document analysis, interviews, surveys, field studies, cases studies, etc.

But also understands the importance of quantitative data and analysis for evidence and proportionality.
