Coordinator 1998-2004 on the EU INCO-COPERNICUS (contract IC15-CT98-0143) project SCOPE (Scientific COoperation with St.PEtersburg), a project on water quality monitoring in the St.Peterburg area, and on the EU INCO-COPERNICUS (contract ICA2-CT2002-60010) project: COASTAL WATER.
Is currently working with Damascus University on the hydrogeology and climate history of Syria (funding :"Det Danske Institut.Damaskus).
And on a project on: integration of modelling, monitoring for real-time management of groundwater resources (Funding: Det Strategiske Forskningsråd).
