Research
My project examines the specific digital logics of music production software - particularly the digital audio workstation, Ableton's Live. I investigate how cultural ideas are embedded and operationalized within these software systems, and how they impact creativity.
I work within the domains of musicology, music production theory, post-structuralism, new materialism, software studies, critical algorithm - and code studies and STS.
