My research focuses on the development of mathematical models for describing biological systems. In particular, I work with extending and improving a mathematical model of the Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs), a type of blood cancer. A major goal for me and my research would be to reach a point where the MPN-model can be used as an accurate predictive tool in clinics.

Additionally I have a large interest in dissemination of mathematical results and various ways of visualizing and representing fascinating results, since I believe some complicated math can be understood by laymen if given the right presentation.
