Short overview
In my research, I work with mathematical modelling og biological system.
In particular, I have worked with modelling the spread of diseaseds (epidemiology), public communication of mathematics and modelling of blood-cancers.

Epidemiology
Currently I am a postdoc in the PandemiX center, working with communication regarding the Covid-19 pandemic as well as mathematical modelling of Covid-19.
In addition, I work with mathematical modelling of historical diseaseoutbreaks.

Public communication
I have a large personal interest in dissemination of mathematical results and various ways of visualizing and representing fascinating results, since I believe complicated math can be understood by laymen if given the right presentation.
This has resulted in a number of interactive visualizations and articles written for broad public audience. Links are found on my website.

Blood-cancers
In my Ph.D. I worked with extending and improving a mathematical model of the Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs), a type of blood cancer.
The goal of this reserach was to understand the biological mechanisms that lead to MPNs, as well as to investigate when and why treatment is succesful.
