Why do we see egalitarian democracies in Scandinavia, with both relatively large welfare states and a relatively high degree of political equality? And what was the influence of international relations on the development of these egalitarian democracies in Scandinavia?

My research looks at the influence of international relations - especially great power politics - on the development of the egalitarian Scandinavian democracies throughout the 20th century. This is an area that so far has not been thoroughly investigated.

My academic fields are primarily Comparative Politics, International Relations and International Political Economy. I have also done research and published on lobbyism and the revolving door in Denmark.
