Personal profile
Research
I am a PhD Fellow at the Department of Social Sciences and Business, where I am part of the research group Roskilde School of Governance (RSG) and the Center for Research on Public-Private Collaboration (COPS).
My PhD project concerns public procurement. I investigate how public organizations prepare, carry out and follow up on procurement of goods and services from private suppliers, with a special focus on the impact of transaction complexity and purchasing skills.
I primarily use quantitative methods to collect and analyze data, and I am part of a research team conducting a randomized field experiment on public organizations' purchaser skills.
Teaching
I teach or have taught at a introductory course in quantitative methods (both as lecturer and as instructor in exercise lessons), at a course on marketization in the public sector, and have also contributed to teaching in a course on policy analysis in modern democracies. In addition, I supervise student projects.
