Personal profile
Research
I have a degree in sociology from the University of Copenhagen and am currently writing a PhD thesis at the Department of Communication and Humanities, Journalism, in the research group DataPublics.
My PhD project examines connections between class, media consumption and democratic practices in a public sphere that is increasingly being digitized and datafied. I work primarily with statistical analyzes of survey data, but also want to explore how digital methods can complement the more classical approaches.
I have previously been employed as a research assistant at Copenhagen Business School and the University of Greenland, Ilisimatusarfik, as well as working as a journalist at DR P1 and Radio24.
As a research assistant, I have been particularly interested in studies of the Danish and Greenlandic power elite, which I have helped to shed light on through social network analysis and qualitative interviews.
