With a background as M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Technical University of Denmark (DTU) I have always been curious about pathogenicity of bacteria and viruses. Late 2017 I started as PhD-student within molecular biology at Roskilde University where my project investigates the mechanisms behind antibiotic resistance towards mecillinam and piperacillin/tazobactam in E. coli from clinical isolates.
During my studies at DTU from 2011-2016 I have been a student helper at Symphogen and Coloplast, Research & Development, Microbiology.
