Personal profile
Research
I am a sociologist of religion with a primary interest in Christianity and its relation to nationalism, migration, and politics, with a regional focus on Eastern Europe. My current Ph.D. project investigates The Catholic Church in Denmark as a diasporic setting for Polish work migrants in Denmark.
I am a part of the research project "The Catholic Ethic and the Spirit of Global Modernities. Global Catholicism in a Danish and Transnational Context," led by Bjørn Thomassen (RUC) and Andreas Bandak (KU)
I mostly work with qualitative methods, but I also have quantitative and mixed methods experience.
