I have 17 years of experience as a teacher and supervisor. Currently, I supervise at RUC and teach master students at the HRM-program at CBS, from where I also hold a Ph.D degree (2012).
At RUC I have supervised projects within a broad range of subject areas such as: project management, employer branding, diversity management, motivation when working from home, the 4 day-work week and the management of volunteers.
My primary research areas are within the psycho-social work environment/well-being, HRM, work organization and management. Currently, I am particularly preoccupied with resilience among prison officers, paradox management, as well as the various (side)effects of training public leaders.
I work primarily qualitatively and have worked with participant observation, interviews and auto-photography.
Theoretically, I have a soft spot for Actor Network Theory and classical organization theory. However, I am by no means religious and always seek to draw in the theories that make the most sense in relation to the empirical field.
