Teaching

Research interests and international collaboration

My research interests includes learning and social innovation in welfare services, democracy and forms of governance in human services, ethnographies and neoliberal practices in the public sector, social entrepreneurship, voluntary organizations and social enterprises and psychosocial theory and method. Recent publications focus on the current transformations and shifts of paradigms in welfare services focusing on a renewed discourse and practice of cocreation, coproduction and partnership.

My methodological research profile lies within the qualitative continuum such as in-depth hermeneutic interview analysis, ethnography and document analysis as well as psychosocial and psychoanalytic methods and interpretive practices.

I am part of several international and Nordic research networks as a a membership of the research network EMES directors board and as director of NOS Nordic Council research network on Coproduction in Nordic Welfare in Transformation.     

Teaching and supervision   

I give lectures and serve as thesis supervisor on several MA programs: Social Entrepreneurship and Management and Social Intervention as well as Master in Social Entrepreneurship. Further, I head the PhD School for People and Technology as well as supervise PhD fellows, and give PhD courses and seminars at national and Nordic universities.
