Personal profile

Research

As an anthropologist, I work with a range of ethnographic methods to explore the intersection of technology and health/illness and migration. My main focus is currently the practical implications of the use of new technologies in healthcare for both healthcare professionals, patients and relatives, as well as the assumptions, hopes and imaginaries associated with the use of digital technologies and data in the healthcare more generally.

My research and development projects and interests unfold nationally as well as internationally. As such since 2019, I have been working on ageing and technology across Denmark and South Korea in collaboration with a group of South Korean researchers from the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology Studies.
