Research

Kristoffer Kropp’s research focuses on the production of social scientific knowledge, the relation between social science and political institutions and European integration. Currently, he is working on social science knowledge production in Europe, production of European social scientific data especially survey data, the configuration of the field of social science, configuration and re-configuration of scientific disciplines, the use of social science knowledge and EU research policy. Theoretically, Kristoffer Kropp main interest is Bourdieus field theory, sociology of knowledge and science, STS and political sociology of the European Union.
