Personal profile

Research

I am professor in Health and Society and a member of the research group studying Health Promotion and Health Strategies, an interdisciplinary research environment for critical health studies at the Department of People and Tecnology. My research interests comprise the welfare state, new welfare political governance, welfare relationships between health-care professionals and users/patients, marginalized citizens, care and care work, ageing, migration and new types of citizen involvement and partnerships.

I am primarily using qualitative methods and doing ethnographic field studies but interested in mixed methods too.
