Research

I am Associate Professor at the Department of Social Sciences and Business. My research is whithin Finance and Economics. More specifically, main topics in Financial Economics are Banking, Asset Pricing and Behavioral Finance. Main topics in Macroeconomics are the study of Optimal Currency Areas and the economics of the Euro.

I belong to the research group Management and Organization at the Department of Social Sciences and Business. Internationally, I cooperate with different colleagues including from Germany (Ingolstadt School of Management and FOM Munich), the United States (University of Memphis and Hartford University) and China (University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, UCAS).

Teaching

I teach in all levels of our Business and Social Sciences Education. First, at the BA level, I teach Quantitative Methods as well as Accounting and Corporate Finance. At the MSc level, I teach a course in Portfolio Theory as well as other Advanced topics within Finance. At the PhD level, I teach quantitative methods.
