Personal profile

Research

My research concerns digital finance and “datafication” of human life. I have an ongoing interest in money and markets, viewing economic matters as intertwined with cultural worlds of moral economy, social relations and identity making. I also do research on the development of digital credit, evolving debt problems among Danish youth and changing imageries and understandings of value. I have a PhD in Anthropology and my research is inspired by economic anthropology. Currently, I am interested in the reconfiguration of payments and exchange in the emerging platform economy, addressing the use of AI in credit scoring, issues of privacy in the circulation of payment data and more broadly the changing role of money as a public good. I am also Roskilde University's coordinator for CopenhagenFintech and DigitalLead cluster.
