Personal profile
Research
I am an industrial PhD student working on a research project titled "Democratic Platform Economy", a collaboration between Kooperationen, the Danish Cooperative Employers' Organisation, and IKH, Roskilde University.
I am feeling privileged to focus professionally on interests such as
1) Democratic ownership design and digital cooperative business models i.e. how to make the platform economy work for the people who participate in it.
2) Alternatives to surveillance data monopolies through new tech and democratic ownership (data cooperatives/collectives) i.e. how to establish democratic data infrastructures and organizations which provide individual and/or collective control of data.
3) Collaborative processes i.e. how to ensure inclusive governance in alternative forms of organizing.
4) De-growth and wellbeing economics i.e. how to develop people and planet centric business models within planetary boundaries.
I have a mixed background of both academic and practical experiences, and methodologically navigates somewhere in between anthropology, collaborative design, and democratic business development.
