Personal profile

Research

I am currently working as a postdoc within the Horizon Europe UNTWIST project at the Department of Social Sciences and Business. I received my PhD in Sociology from Lund Unversity in 2022. In my dissertation, A Politics of Community: Identity, Stigma and Meaning in the Extra-Parliamentary Left, I investigated how individuals create, join, and maintain a radical leftist movement, demonstrating that understanding even radical forms of political action requires a focus on the mundane and habitual activities of political groups. My research interests include community, radicalization, identity, political sociology, and stigmatization.
